"Can You See (This For Yourself)" has been my lighthouse from the very beginning of my career as an artist and songwriter.
I remember the notebook I held as an introverted high school senior, the blue pen, and the golden sun late summer evening sitting on the black couch near the piano daydreaming about performing my music for people around the world. These daydreams made my heart race with excitement. I wrote this song to inspire myself to courageous go after my dreams.
So, there are no words to describe what it feels like to share this version of this song and this point in time with you. The closest I can think of is gratitude.
The energy that it has taken on after sharing it live in concert over the years. Gratitude and joy.
