"MIDNIGHT LOVER," the EP from Georgia native, Harlem based singer/songwriter musician Charles Duke is the echo of the heart alone with its thoughts at night. The title, inspired from American pianist Thelonius Monk's jazz standard Round Midnight and Marvin Gaye's iconic album Midnight Love, aims to authentically display the spectrum of singular love and emotions felt nocturnally.
Charles Duke paints his story and introduces some of his own influences through soulful baritone inflections and genre-blending arrangements intertwining thought-provoking covers with eccentric originals. MIDNIGHT LOVER EP preludes the forthcoming release of his all-original music EP later this year.
